Solution

Project Overview

Aliza Vayani reached out to me through her brother: she was opening Blush Dry Bar, a blowout and beauty salon in the US, and needed a website that could match the experience she was building in person — 'Empowering Your Beauty, Every Day.'

Unlike most projects, the branding already existed. Aliza's team shared their brand assets and a set of inspiration sites, and my job was to translate that identity into a website that felt warm, premium, and unmistakably Blush — not like a salon template with the logo swapped.

Project Execution

I started with brainstorming and idea sketches, then designed a full mockup in Figma so Aliza and her team could react to something concrete. Once they approved the direction, I built the site from scratch — no ready-made themes, no bloated page-builder kits, just clean sections shaped around her brand.

As the salon's plans grew, so did the site: we added custom pages and forms beyond the original scope, including a chair-rental flow for stylists who want to work out of the space.

Key Features:

  • From-Scratch Design, Zero Template Bloat: Every section was designed for Blush specifically — keeping the site fast and the brand feeling boutique rather than boxed.
  • Figma-First Approval Process: A complete mockup before any build meant the client saw and shaped the design early — no surprises at launch.
  • Service Presentation Built to Book: Blowouts, styling, makeup, and bridal/event services each presented with clear paths into the booking flow.
  • Custom Chair-Rental Pages & Forms: A dedicated flow for stylists interested in renting a chair — a second revenue stream handled directly through the website.
  • Booking System Integration: Connected to the salon's scheduling platform so appointments flow straight into their calendar.
  • Warm, Feminine, Mobile-First Design: Soft palette and imagery-led layout tuned for the salon's audience — and for the phones they browse on.

Project Results

  • A complete salon website launched from scratch, true to the existing brand
  • Custom chair-rental pages and forms opened a second revenue stream through the site
  • Clean, fast build with no theme bloat — quick to load and easy to maintain
  • Client bookings flow directly into the salon's scheduling system
  • The site grew with the business — extra pages and forms added as new needs appeared

Client's Feedback

A

It finally feels like us…

My brother recommended Salman and I'm so glad he did. We gave him our branding and some sites we liked, and he came back with a Figma design that instantly felt like us — warm and clean, not like a generic salon template. He kept adding what we needed as we grew, like the chair rental pages. The website finally matches the experience we give clients in the salon.
